What do you get when you cross an ancient Scottish castle with cutting edge cyber security?
We’re inviting schools around the world to take part in a live cyber security lesson where your learners can use cyber security skills to defend one of Scotland’s most important historical sites: Stirling Castle.
No knowledge of long-swords required, only a willingness to learn how to defend yourself and others from cyber threats!
This interactive event mixes online gaming, digital skills, and interactive storytelling, all centred around Scotland’s rich history and historic environment.
Scotland’s heritage is world famous, with millions visiting castles across the country each year. Our event is about sharing the important work done by organisations like Historic Environment Scotland, in decoding our heritage and using technology to preserve it for generations to come.
We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Scottish Connections Fund to allow us to offer this event to groups around the world. We’re hoping thousands of international learners take part, and I hope you’ll bring your class along!
